Our Story

Welcome to Bella's Bee Werke! Our goal is to create (with the help of thousands and thousands of workers of course) the finest, purest, and most indulgent honey you've ever tasted, while doing all we can to sustain and advance the most precious of all pollinators, the Honeybee. Our honey is taken directly from the hive (no additives), 100% natural, gently strained, and bottled in small batches.

Our honeybees are lovingly raised and tended to in a way that allows the bees to 'just be bees' - without over-stressing or taxing our bees. We believe that it is both our responsibility and our goal to create a peaceful, happy, and healthy environment for them to do their oh-so-important work for us - and for the world! In the end, we feel deeply that this, more than anything else we could do, produces the most tasty, sustainable, and luxurious honey available.

While we (and hope you) loooove this honey, we recognize that it is critically important to be involved in and support the efforts to halt and reverse the growing issue of bee decline. This is why we are members of the Minnesota Beekeeping Association, Minnesota Grown, and continually educate ourselves both online and at the University of Minnesota's Beekeeping in Northern Climate classes.
